What are wrinkle correction treatments?

Wrinkle correction is a non-surgical injectable treatment that uses botulinum toxin to help visibly reduce the signs of ageing. It works particularly well on the fine lines and wrinkles that can contribute to such signs of ageing.

How does it work?

Wrinkle correction treatments use an injectable form of botulinum toxin to essentially freeze the targeted muscles in place. Stopping them from making the repetitive movements that can lead to fine lines and wrinkles, these signs of ageing are reduced and, in some cases, even eliminated.

Which areas of the face can be treated?

We’ll go over which areas you wish to target in a personalised consultation, but wrinkle correction can be used on various points across the face and neck including:

Crow’s feet
Frown lines
Forehead lines
Bunny lines
Upper lip lines
Marionette lines
Neck lines
Glabellar lines
Eyebrow lift

Botulinum toxin can also be used to help treat bruxism or teeth grinding, which can cause severe pain in the jaw and persistent headaches and even migraines. If you are looking for relief from this condition, please ask us more about this treatment.

How long does the treatment take?

After your initial consultation, you can expect to spend just 30 minutes in the chair receiving your treatment.

How long do the results last?

Results from wrinkle correction can last for up to four months but can last longer with repeated treatments allowing for longer periods between appointments.

When will I see the results?

Results from this treatment are usually visible within one week of your appointment but take up to two weeks for full effect.

The reception staff are always friendly and efficient as are the dental team. My last visit was a check up. I didn't need treatment but the dentist gave me a clean up removing any build up the electric tooth brush and tooth pick failed to remove. All done in 15 minutes. I would highly recommend this dental surgery, I have been a patient on their books for over 10 years.
